Bournemouth Gardens
Upper, Central and Lower Gardens have all been Green Flag winners since 1999 and run from Bournemouth pier to the boundary with Poole.
The gardens are 3 kilometres long. They are all part of the Bourne Valley Greenway and are Listed Grade II in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens.

Mudeford
Explore Mudeford, The Quay is situated at the entrance of Christchurch Harbour and South of Mudeford village centre.
The Quay comprises of The Haven Inn public house, a number of ex-fishermans’ cottages and a large car park, it is still used by local fishing boats as well as being a base for many water sports. A RNLI inshore lifeboat station is on the Quay. The Quay is also a popular place for families with the shop at the end of the Quay selling crabbing nets, buckets and bait.
Watersports equipment is available for hire from nearby vendors and the Mudeford Ferry operates every 15 minutes during the warmer months taking passengers across the small channel to Mudeford Sand Spit and Hengistbury Head.
The Haven House is a collection of Dutch Cottages which have existed since 1697 and are the oldest buildings in Mudeford. The beaches at Avon and Friars Cliff are easily accessed from the Quay

Poole and Poole Quay
Poole’s vibrant Quayside is the gateway to its stunning harbour and islands. Enjoy a harbour cruise or a trip to National Trust Brownsea Island, get hands on with a crab line and bucket, or just simply sit back and relax in one of the many waterfront café bars and restaurants. Here you can enjoy viewing the impressive selection of tall ships, fishing vessels and luxury yachts as they enter and leave the busy harbour.
Take in the sights of Poole’s beautiful old town, just a couple of minutes walk from the quay, it was part of the medieval town and some building still survive. The free entry Poole Museum, along with a host of guided walks and trails, bring the town’s rich pirate and merchant history to life.

Monkey World
The rescue centre has assisted governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates from the wild since 1987.
At the Centre refugees of this illegal trade as well as those that have suffered abuse or neglect are rehabilitated into natural living groups.
Set amongst the woodland of Dorset lays 65 acres of sanctuary for over 250 primates. Monkey World was set up in 1987 by Jim Cronin to provide abused Spanish beach chimps with a permanent, stable home. Today Monkey World works in conjunction with foreign governments from all over the world to stop the illegal smuggling of apes out of Africa and Asia. At the park visitors can see over 250 primates of more than 20 different species.

Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door
Lulworth Cove in Dorset is a quaint village with many picturesque and traditional cottages. A large car park serves the bustling lane which leads down to the oyster-shaped cove and is lined with shops and restaurants, while the cove itself is largely shingle with a few patches of golden sand.
Durdle Door is one of Dorset’s most photographed and iconic landmarks. It is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
Access to the pebble and shingle beach is on foot via a path and steps over the hill from Lulworth Cove or down from the Car Park (charges apply) which is located on the cliff top at Durdle Door Holiday Park. There is a half mile walk (approx 30 minutes) along a steep path downhill, plus a further 150 steps down onto the beach. There is only one set of steps to access the beach, therefore you may have to queue to ensure social distancing of 2 metres.

Brownsea Island
Brownsea Island, also archaically known as Branksea, is the largest of the islands in Poole Harbour in the county of Dorset, England. The island is owned by the National Trust with the northern half managed by the Dorset Wildlife Trust
Thriving natural habitats – including woodland, heathland and a lagoon – create a haven for wildlife, such as the rare red squirrel and a wide variety of birds, including dunlin, kingfishers, common and sandwich terns and oystercatchers.
Visitors will be fascinated by the island’s rich history, for as well as boasting daffodil farming and pottery works, it was the birthplace of the Scouting and Guiding movement. The campsite and hostel are open to all recognised youth and educational groups. Sailing, canoeing, archery, orienteering, conservation work and more are all available on the island.
